What Is Hydronephroisis?

Hydronephrosis is a minor condition which may result due to some underlying disease. It’s structural and affects the body due to blockage or obstruction in the urinary tract. This condition typically occurs when kidney swells due to urine failing to properly drain from the kidney to the bladder. The swelling most commonly hit only one kidney, but the effect involves both kidneys. “Hydronephrosis Treatment in Ayurveda

Allopathic and Medication Course

Most people with Hydronephrosis will have a procedure called catheterization to drain the urine from their kidney(s). Depending on the underlying cause, medication or surgery may be needed afterward to correct the problem. The patient also takes dialysis and transplant in the later stages of kidney disease. In dialysis, the blood is filtered with the help of an artificial machine when kidneys are not able to perform its functions. In a transplant, the entire diseased kidney is replaced by a new working kidney surgically. These treatments can’t cure kidney disease but it can prolong your life.  “Ayurvedic Treatment for Proteinuria

Good Food for Kidneys

Calorie balancing is an important thing in providing adequate energy and preventing the breakdown of body tissues. Healthy carbohydrates such as fruits, vegetables, and grains, help in providing nutrients, energy, and fiber. There are certain fats such as canola oil and olive oil that can help protect the health of the arteries. The amount of protein one consumes depends on whether one requires kidney dialysis. A low-protein diet prior to dialysis and a high-protein diet after you start dialysis. Nutritious sources of protein include fish, eggs, pork and poultry. Advanced kidney failure may increase the need for extra iron. Kidney beans and beef provide rich sources of dietary iron. “Hydronephrosis Treatment in Ayurveda”
