Overview of kidneys

Kidney problems are an unhealthy condition and the most common people prone to such a condition are high blood sugar level and diabetic patients. Creatinine is the condition of kidney failure in which chemical waste product of muscle metabolism is found in the body. High level of creatinine indicates that kidney is not able to filter the waste out of the body. Ayurvedic treatment for creatinine levels is preferred by most people due to no side effects and is useful due to anti-inflammatory actions.

BUN or creatinine level

BUN and creatinine are the primary tests that are used to check how the kidneys are able to filter waste products from the blood. BUN is Blood urea nitrogen which is a normal waste product formed in the blood due to the breakdown of proteins from the food and the body metabolism. It is normally removed from the blood by your kidneys.  However, the rise in the BUN level is indicative of slow down of kidney functions.

The BUN is the most important indicator of kidney disease. Urea is one of the byproducts which indicate the impairment of kidneys. The BUN-creatinine ratio provides the exact report about the kidney functions and the possible cause of kidney disease. Acute dehydration can trigger the chances of high BUN.
